This past Sunday, October 3rd, Layla took her first trip to church. She was 5 weeks old and did great. She slept the entire time! I was a little worried she would wake up wanting to be fed in the middle of the service, but she never even stirred. The gown she wore was hand-made by our preacher's wife, who also happens to be my father-in-law's cousin Janie. She did an amazing job and the dress is just precious. I plan on having her 3 month pictures done in the dress too. Special thanks to Janie for such a sweet and special gift!!
